How to Practice Alternate Nostril Breathing:
- Sit comfortably with your spine straight.
- Place your left hand on your left knee with the palm open to the sky.
- Bring your right hand to your face and rest your index and middle fingers on your forehead between your eyebrows.
- Use your right thumb to gently close your right nostril.
- Inhale through your left nostril for a count of four.
- Close your left nostril with your right ring finger, release the right nostril, and exhale for a count of four.
- Inhale through the right nostril for a count of four.
- Close your right nostril, release the left nostril, and exhale for a count of four.
- This completes one round. Repeat for several rounds, gradually increasing the count and maintaining a smooth, even breath.
